Dennis Sorresso, MD, is a board-certified sleep medicine specialist helping patients sleep well consistently at Florida Sleep Solutions of Jax in Jacksonville, Florida. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Sorresso truly understands the struggles that come with poor sleep. He listens to patients intently about their concerns and helps them navigate innovative testing and treatments. 

Dr. Sorresso started his higher education at Adelphi University in Garden City, New York. He attended medical school at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pennsylvania, before finishing his residency at Penn State University in Centre County, Pennsylvania. Then, he completed his fellowship at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois, before completing a second fellowship at the University of Chicago.

Throughout his career, Dr. Sorresso has made a name for himself in the sleep medicine community and the medical community overall. He has published his own research in esteemed journals and has presented his research in lectures. He uses his expertise to educate his patients in detail about disorders like sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome, and he delivers the latest and most effective treatments available. 

Dr. Sorresso is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Additionally, he is triple-board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and sleep medicine.
